The ActiveStart ACS4W16 product gets wired directly to the compressor of an air conditioning system. It is dual voltage rated working with either 115 Vac or 230 Vac systems and comes with 4 wires so making the connections are very easy with this unit. The 16 amp version is ideal for RV or Marine air conditioners. It has Bluetooth available with a user app to monitor the operation of the unit with fault alarms which means you do not have to climb up or down to check the faults.

The 50 amp version is ideal for Residential Home systems, Marine air Conditioners or Commercial units drawing less than 50 amps this is typically 6 tons or less. It will have Bluetooth available with a user app to monitor the operation of the unit with fault alarms which means you do not have to climb up or down into a boat to check the faults.

Ground Neutral Bonded Plug
- For use with generators with an 'open neutral or floating neutral'. This might cause the ActiveStart surge protectors or any other EMS surge protector to give you an 'open ground' or 'open neutral' error code and prevent power from going into your RV.
-To correct the issue, simply plug this item into an unused 15A AC receptacle on the generator. This should create a neutral to ground bond and the condition should be resolved.
